About Beth Phoenix: Elizabeth Carolan nee Kocanski was born on November 24, 1980 in New York. She completed her training from All Knighters at Professional Wrestling School in Buffalo, New York. She had her match against Alexis Laree. After that Beth made her debut in Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) in July 2004. In 2006, she was adjudged as winner of OVW Women Champion. Phoenix made her debut in World Wrestling Entertainment on May 8, 2006 in RAW. On May 29, 2006 Beth and Wilson defeated Candice and Victoria. In September Phoenix won her first WWE Women’s Championship by defeating Candice at No Mercy in 2007. Muscular Phoenix defended her title at Armageddon by defeating Mickie James. In 2008 at Summer Slam, Beth teaming up with Marella defeated James and Kingston to win Women’s Champion and Intercontinental Championship respectively. About her personnel life Beth is married to Joey Carolan aka Joey Knight.
