About Mickie James: Mickie Laree James was born on August 31, 1979 in Montpelier, Virginia. James is very fond of horses. When she was 11years old her grandmother bought her horse. At present she has three horses- Rhapsody, Bunny and Casanova. As a child she used to watch wrestling with her father. Her favorite wrestlers were Randy Savage, Ricky and Ric Flair. James made her first appearance as wrestler in 1999 in KYDA Pro Wrestling under name as Alexis Laree. James signed agreement with World Wrestling Entertainment in 2003 and was sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) in August. On November 12, 2004 she defeated Jillian Hall and won $1,000 as prize money. On October 10, 2005 James made her debut in WWE in RAW. At Wrestle Mania 22, James defeats Trish Stratus to win her first WWE Women’s Championship title. On August 24, 2006 James lost to Lita in a Women’s Championship match. After that James defeated Victoria and Melina to book her place in finals of Women’s Championship Match at Cyber Sunday against Lita. But James again lost her match to Lita one more time. Finally at Survivor Series, James defeat Lita to regain her WWE Women’s Championship title. James participated against Melina in first ever Women’s Falls Count Anywhere Match in WWE history, where she lost her title to Melina. On April 24, 2007, James won her third Women’s Championship Belt in Triple Threat Match against Victoria and Melina but unfortunately lost to Melina in rematch. Mickie James has two tattoos- An Asian symbol on her ankle means “Love” and dragon that wraps around her.
