Maria initially entered the WWE as contestant in the 2004 WWE RAW Diva Search. Maria lasted awhile before she was eliminated from the contest. However, the WWE saw how she was quickly admired by the fans, and in return offered her a WWE contract. Maria has been exclusive to WWE RAW primarily as a backstage interviewer. During this time Jessica Simpson had become infamous for portraying a dumb blonde on the hit reality show "Newlyweds". It didn't take long for WWE's Newest RAW Diva to be portrayed in a similiar light.
Maria has had numerous humerous interviews with WWE RAW Superstars including Carlito, John Cena, Eugene, and William Regal just to name a few. Every now and then you'll get to see Maria wrestle, but her true talent is her ability to make us laugh and looking beautiful. Hopefully WWE RAW's Maria is here to stay for a long time!
