Michelle McCool started out in the WWE as a contestant in the 2004 WWE RAW Diva Search. Shortly after the competition ended McCool was offered a WWE contract. Michelle was soon seen on Smackdown as a personal trainer. McCool's first notable feud was with Melina after Melina had teased her friend, Heidenreich. This led to a match where Melina gained her first win on Smackdown. After the completion of the match, MNM proceeded to attack McCool. Shortly after, Michelle was sent down to Deep South Wrestling to train as a wrestler.
McCool eventually made the transition to OVW before returning to WWE Television on the June 2nd, 2006 edition of Smackdown. McCool returned under a sexy teacher gimmick. Upon her return, Michelle formed an alliance with Kristal Marshall and feuded with Ashley Massaro & Jillian Hall. This feud eventually faded out. Michelle moved on and became the manager of newcomers Idol Stevens and K.C. James.
